This hole gently bears to the right so a tee shot as far left on the fairway as possible is desirable you will have a much easier approach as it opens up the green, however the copse of trees on the left need to be avoided. The long hitters need to be aware of the fairway bunker about 60 yards short of the green.

The walk towards your drive allows you to gaze out over the North Sea and watch the shipping going in and out of Teesport. Your second shot is into a large flat green that is scenically framed by fir trees, but beware of the front right hand bunker, it tends to attract those off-line shots.
